Apple Pear Crumbly Crumble

This Apple Pear Crumble tastes amazing! Your taste buds will thank you if you have not had it before. In my opinion, everyone should at least try anything that is baked with apple once in their life. Anything baked with apples tastes amazing especially when you have that mixture of crunchy and soft. If you are looking for crunchy and soft, I have just what you need. The apple and pear bake perfectly under that soft but crunchy layer which make that delicious apple and pear crumble.

Supplies

  1. 1 1/2 cups of rolled oat's
  2. 1 1/2 cups of brown sugar, divided
  3. 1/2 cup of all purpose flour
  4. 1/2 cup of butter, softened
  5. 2 cups of peeled and medium sized diced pears
  6. 2 cups of peeled and medium sized diced apples
  7. 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  8. 1/2 cup of sliced almonds, optional

Ingredients

Gather all ingredients. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, (175 degrees C)

Crumble Making

Mix the Oats a 3/4 cup of the brown sugar, flour and butter together in a bowl till crumbly ( Tip : when I was mixing it all together I found it hard to mix with a whisk so instead I used my hands.

Fruit

Mix the cut up pears and apples into the remaining 3/4 Cup of brown sugar and cinnamon together in a separate bowl. Spread onto the bottom of your 8 by 8 inch pan.

Putting It All Together

Add your oat crumble mixture on top of the apple-pear mixture and gently pat it flat. Top with almonds if you choose.bake in preheated oven for 30-40 minutes or until the filling is bubbling or the topping is golden brown.

Once the apple pear crumble is golden brown on the top then carefully take it out and let it cool for at least 10-15 mins so it can set.then Enjoy 😊

Reflection

I thought this came out nicely but what I would recommend if you're feeling it's too sweet, is cutting down on the amount of sugar used. if you are feeling fun, try adding a different fruit to your crumble and use a different topping like coconut flakes! I really hope you enjoyed my dessert. Everyone I've made it for really loves it!
