today, you will learn how to make this beautiful gem ring! i made this because i wanted to enter the jewelry contest, i also very much enjoyed making it. you can also make a matching one for your partner! it is fairly easy to make, the only thing you may have trouble getting your hands on though are the fake gems, aside from that, you can easily do this!

you need: fake gems, you can buy them here: https://www.amazon.com/Treasure-Multicolor-Diamonds-Drawstring-Decorations/dp/B093LJ2PX9 copper wire, solder, soldering iron, hacksaw, hammer. the gold colored plates can be purchased here: https://www.amazon.com/WUDOLI-Sheet-Construction-Square-Materials/dp/B0CJ4BT7W2?th=1

Make the Ring Part

make it by wrapping the copper wire around a battery or your finger. do not trim the extra sticking out as we will use it later. a fat blowtorch nozzle worked well for me, but use whatever you like best.

Pound the Gold Sheet

i forgot to take pictures of this step, but what i did was i pounded the sheet thin, cut it to size, then bent it so it fit the gems, and made more and stacked them and soldered them together. i then placed the gems in the slots i made, then cut and bent tabs down so the didn't fall out.

Attach to the Main Ring

i drilled a hole so i could stick the end of the ring through, then i soldered it there, if it wont solder, you may have to use flux.

Done!

you are done! if you want you can polish it, if to much solder sticks out and scratches you or irritates you, use sandpaper to sand it down and away, you can also make a matching one for your partner or someone else.
