Pull-through Braid: How to Do It?
Pull-through braids are easy enough for your wig and can transfer the look for you. How can you make a pull-through braid through your wig? Here are the steps
Supplies
Pull-through braids can add volume to your wigs and show a unique looking.
First Step: Prepare Works
Some plastic bands need to prepare, and a few clips as you like can be used. Then put your wig on a wig stand for easy working. Brush your wig with a wide-tooth comb to make sure the knots are removed. Next, prepare the braid.
Second, Create Two Ponytails
From ear to ear, create a ponytail for your wig and tie it up with your bands. It is to note that the ponytail need not be big or too small. Then create another ponytail from ear to ear under the first ponytail. They need to keep in the same line.
Third, Create a Loop
Divided the first ponytail into two equal sections and bypass the second ponytail, then add a wipe of hair from one side, as same as another side, next tie it up into a knot. This is the first loop and a new ponytail have created.
Fourth, Repeat
Split two sections of the second ponytail, and bypass the new ponytail. And then add a wipe of hair from left and right, and tie them. Then a new loop has created. Next, repeat this process until reach the end of your wig.
Fifth, Finish Your Braid
Apply a band to tie the ponytail in front of the hair, and let the hair pull through this ponytail. To create a voluminous look, you need to gently make each loop fuller and loose. You can use some hair products to keep your hairstyle, or you can use clips to add charm.
Pull-through braid is suited to apply your wigs to create a voluminous-looking and unique feeling. However, this braid is best used on long hair, like kinky curly wigs or body weaves, which will make more loops to create a pretty looking.
