Follow the easy steps below or watch the short video tutorial or do both.
Supplies
Ingredients:
- 2 containers of crescent rolls (8oz containers 552g)
- 1/4 cup of butter, softened (56g)
- 2 to 3 cloves of fresh garlic
- 2 to 3 Tbsp of chopped parsley
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
- 8oz of shredded mozzarella or other cheeses (226g)
Tools:
- 5x9-inch bread loaf pan
- Oil or cooking spray for the pan
- Basting brush or use a spoon
- Small bowl
Make Butter Garlic Spread
Preheat the oven to 375F/190C.
In a small bowl, mix together the butter, fresh garlic, chopped parsley, and garlic powder.
Prep the Dough
Unroll the crescent roll dough and then baste the top of each one with the garlic butter spread.
Then add about 4 oz of cheese evenly to the top, and then just roll it back up.
Bake and Serve
Place each rolled-up dough into a 5x9-inch bread loaf pan. Make sure to grease it with cooking oil or shortening.
Now bake the bread for 30 to 40 minutes until nice and golden brown. Allow the bread to cool for a few minutes in the pan and then remove it.
You can just pull it apart to eat it or slice it. Enjoy!
