DIY Air Assist for Laser Module

Hello there i have successfully built and tested a DIY Air Assist Module for my TTS 55 Laser Module

and today i will show you how did i build it :)

Supplies

  1. 6mm to 4mm Reducer
  2. 6mm T connector
  3. 6mm Pipe tube
  4. 4mm Pipe tube
  5. 2 Miniature Vacuum Air Pump 3-12VDC
  6. 12VDC 5 Ampere Power Supply ( 1.5 x 12 = 18 watt per Pump so total needed 36 watt + 24 watt margin )
  7. Switch
  8. Neck Connector ( Pneumatic Straight Fitting )

Pneumatic Circuit

  1. Connect the 6mm tubes into the output of the 2 Vacuum Pumps
  2. Connect both tubes comming out the 2 pumps with a T connector
  3. Connect short 6mm tube to the middle output of the T connector
  4. Connect the short 6mm tube to the 6mm to 4mm reducer
  5. Connect the 4mm tube into the reducer
  6. connect the output of the 4mm tube with the 4mm neck screwed into the Laser Nozzle
  7. Fit them into the plastic box
  8. Make sure to leave holes so the pump`s input can take the air

Electric Circuit

  1. Connect the +ve of both pumps into a a barrier strip block
  2. Connect the -ve of both pumps into a a barrier strip block
  3. Bridge both with a short wire so you can feed both pumps with a single +ve and -ve wires
  4. Connect the +ve terminal into a switch
  5. Connect the +ve and -ve ends into the power supply after fitting them inside the plastic box
