DIY Dartboard

This dartboard makes for a fun time while not using too many materials.

Supplies

Materials

  1. Foam
  2. Paper dartboard picture
  3. 4 Wood pieces, same length


Tools

  1. Saw
  2. Nailgun
  3. Wood glue
  4. Spray Paint

Dartboard

Take 4 pins and attach the dartboard image to the piece of foam (my picture happened to be perfectly shaped for the piece of foam)

Body/base

Take two of your four pieces of wood and put one piece down on the table and another attached to the side. Put another piece on top of the one on the table, and nail them together with the nail gun, as seen above. Then, add the bottom piece. After, add the other side piece and you have built the base.

Paint

Paint the dartboard. I used spray paint for ease purposes but my friend used normal paint and it worked. While you let it dry, make the darts.

Darts

For the darts, take small popsicle sticks and arrange them in this order: (picture above). Tape them together along with the pin, which is the dart. Adding feathers is a good idea, as it improves the flying of the darts.

Finishing Up

After you have finished the darts, screw the dartboard on to the base.
