Capturemain.PNG

This instruction set is made to assist others with building a circuit with a LDR

Supplies

Capturesupplies.PNG
  1. Wires, have about 20 cm on hand
  2. LDR
  3. PNP transistor
  4. LED, any color
  5. 10k ohms resistor
  6. 330 ohms resistor
  7. 9V Battery

Insert the Resistors Resonably Far Away From Eachother

you will have a 10k resistor and a 330 resistor. You need to spread them out around 10 spaces from eachother and connect them to a positive side.

Attach LDR to Curcuit

Capture2.PNG

The LDR should be connected to the 10kΩ resistor.

Attach LED to Circuit

Capture3.PNG

The LED should be connected to the 330Ω resistor.

Attach Transister to Circuit

You need a PNP transister and connect the emitter to the LED.

Connect the Other Resistor to the Transistor

Specifically the base of the PNP.

Connect the LDR and the Transistor to Grounding

You should have started with the positive end, now you end with the negative end.

Connect the Battery and Test the Circuit

Go back steps if the circuit does not work.
