I made a battery powered fan that attaches to a baseball cap. I made it so wearers'/users' faces can stay cool.

Design

The first thing I did in the process to make my hat–fan–clip was I went to Tinker CAD and took the measurements of a hat, brim, and the motor I was using to design a clip that would fit both. I forgot to account for sliding in the motor. After that I had forgotten to give space for the fan so it wouldn't hit the brim. I corrected that. So with the final product, it had the space for the for the brim and the motor could slide in (three prints later).

Printing

I had the print uploaded to the 3-D printer. The 3D printer was an AnyCubic Kobra X. It took about 38 minutes the first two times then an hour the third time.

Soldering

I soldered the wires to the fan with a soldering iron, so it wouldn't break apart as easily and could last longer.

Hot Gluing

I put a dot of hot glue in the middle of the battery pack then press it to the top of the clip and let it cool for 5 to 10 minutes.
