Fear Management Clock - Face Your Fear & Watch Yourself BLOOM
Today, I want to show you how to make a βFear Management Clock.β πβ¨
The reason for making this is that all of us experience fear in different ways in our lives. π¨
We may feel fear before an exam, or fear of speaking in public, or fear of trying something new in an unfamiliar place. Many situations in life can make us feel scared.
Fear is a natural thing, and we need to learn from it. Instead of letting fear stop us, we can face it and use it to improve our lives. π‘
Thatβs why I thought of making the Fear Management Clock. When you make it, it will give you a big boost to face your fears. πͺβ¨
Also, this clock can help you manage your fears in a practical way. It becomes a tool to stay calm, positive, and confident. πΈ
So, without further delay, letβs go ahead and make the Fear Management Clock. π¨π
Supplies
- Color A4 Papers
- Cardboard Paper A4 Size
- Color Pens
- Color Pencils
- Ruler
- Glue
- Scissors
Draw Circle
First, take a colored A4 paper sheet. π¨ Draw a large circle on the paper. β
After drawing the circle, divide the circle into 6 equal sections. This will create six separate pieces inside the circle. βοΈ
Next, take a few more colored A4 sheets and repeat the same process. Draw a circle on each paper and divide each circle into 6 equal pieces just like before. π
Cut the Pieces
After that, carefully cut out the pieces you divided from the circle. βοΈβ
Make sure to cut along the lines slowly and carefully so each section stays in a nice shape. Take your time while cutting to keep the pieces neat and clean. π
You can see exactly how I did this by looking at my photos. They will help you understand the cutting process more clearly. πΈ
Decorate
Next, take a piece of colored cardboard paper and cut it into half. πβοΈ
Then take the six colorful circle pieces that you cut earlier and glue them nicely on one side of the cardboard. Arrange the six pieces in a beautiful pattern so it looks colorful and attractive. πβ¨
After that, I wanted to make the card look more interesting and meaningful. So I printed a small picture and glued it onto the card. π¨οΈπΌοΈ
I made this card based on the topic βFear of Exam.β Because of that, I chose a small picture related to exams and added it to the card.
Finally, at the top of the card, I nicely wrote the topic βFear of Examβ to make the theme of the card clear and easy to understand. βοΈππ
Write Important Tips
After that, inside the colorful circle design that we glued earlier, I wrote the numbers of a clock from 1 to 12 around the circle. β°βοΈ
Then, in order, I wrote six important tips that can help when facing an exam. These tips were written in each section of the circle. π
1. Make a Study Plan
2. Study a little every day
3. Practice past papers
4. Take short breaks
5. Sleep well before the exam
6. Stay calm and think positive
These are very important things to remember for exams. They help us prepare better and feel more confident. π‘
Also, when the exam date gets closer, many students start to feel nervous or stressed. These small tips can help us avoid common mistakes and handle exam pressure in a better way. ππ
Make Paper Flower
Now, to make the card even more beautiful and to add a small hidden tip, I am going to make a nice paper flower. πΈβ¨
1. First, take a colored A4 paper and cut a medium sized rectangle from it. βοΈπ
After cutting it, fold the paper in half.
Next, cut two heart shapes from the folded paper, just like I showed in the second photo. β€οΈ
The hearts do not need to be perfectly shaped, so donβt worry too much about making them exact. Just cut them in a similar shape. π
2. After cutting them, take the large heart shape and fold both sides slightly inward, just like you can see in the third photo. πΈ
This step is very simple, and it will start forming the petal shape of the flower. πΊ
Make Paper Flower
Now take the shape that you folded on both sides and fold it inward nicely, just like I showed in the first photo. β¨
When you do this, you will start to see the shape of a small tulip flower forming. π·π
After that, take the small piece that we cut earlier and glue it on under of the larger piece. This will complete the flower shape.
Next, take a colored pen and draw a slightly thick line around the front edge of the flower. ποΈπ¨ This small detail will make the flower look even more beautiful and neat.
Now you can see that it really looks like a lovely tulip flower. π·β¨
Make Paper Flower
We need to make several flowers using colored paper pieces, just like the flower I made earlier. πΉ
On the top of the petals of each flower, we can write a small tip. β¨ These tips will help reduce fear and motivate anyone reading the card. π‘
You can see clearly how I did this in the photos I shared. πΈ
Finish Paper Flower
Now we have to make a stand for the flower. πΈ
For that, I take a brown color cardboard paper and make a slightly curved thin strip, just like I showed in the first photo, and fold it. βοΈ
Then, we attach the stand under the flower. After attaching it, we glue it on the cardboard card we made earlier. ποΈβ¨ You can see clearly in my second photo how it looks. πΈ
You can attach several flowers in the same way to make it look beautiful. πΉπ· The height of the flower stand can be made slightly shorter or taller depending on how you like.
Finally, take a green color A4 paper sheet and cut it into shapes like leaves or small plant branches, and glue them around the flowers. π This will make the flowers look even more beautiful, just like in my third photo. πΈπ
Fix Clock Hand
Next, we need to make and attach the hand of our clock. β°ποΈ
For that, I cut a small strip in the shape of an arrow and attach it to the center of the circle where the sections are drawn, using a drawing pin. βοΈπ
When attaching it with the drawing pin, make sure to insert the pin carefully so that the hand can move freely around the circle. π
More Cards
Now we have the card we made. π¨β¨
We can make more cards in the same way to show faces of other fears. π¨ Here, I made another card like that one. I made it for the fear called βFear of Heights.β ποΈ
You can also create a couple more cards for different fears in the same way. Each card will help show and motivate people to overcome those fears. π‘π
Final Result
This is the final look of our Fear Management Clock card. πβ¨ Isnβt it beautiful?
When you make a few more cards like this, you will have many lovely flowers and decorations together. πΈπΌπ· At the same time, these cards will help reduce fear and show tips to handle it in a beautiful way. π‘π
I hope that by using what I made, you will get real benefit from it. β
β¨ Final Message
βFear is a part of life, but it should not stop us from growing. When we face our fears with courage and confidence, we become stronger every day. Just like a flower that blooms after facing the rain and wind, we too can bloom when we overcome our fears. πΈ
So donβt run away from fear. face it bravely, learn from it, and let yourself bloom into the best version of you. π±β¨"
Once you make it and see it yourself, you can tell me how it helped your fear and what effect it had! π
