Fog Catcher

I made a fog Catcher, the ribs catch fog and as it gathers it condenses into fog and turns into water, it then slides down into the collection hole. This is intended to provide some sort of water in foggy areas that don't have a reliable source of water.

Supplies

A hardware with Tinkercad capabilities

Making the Box

  1. Add a big box to your design
  2. Add a smaller hollow box inside that will hollow out

Making the Angled Ribs

  1. Make around 10-15 long rods
  2. Rotate them so that they are facing down
  3. Put them into the box, make sure that you make it so they will actually drip water into the collection compartment

Making the Collection Compartment

  1. Add a cone, then put a hollow smaller cone inside that to make it hollow
  2. Put a hollow rectangle near the end of the box
  3. Put the new collection compartment below the now empty space

Now the fog will condense on the ribs and gravity will drop the drops towards the collection chamber, below the collection chamber should be a cup or a bucket to prevent water droplets from hitting the ground
