Freezie Pop Holder From Kan Koozie

I've seen lots of people online making little pouches for "freezie" ice popsicles. They keep your hands from getting too cold and are good for kids.

I have a bunch of can koozies from various businesses in my area that I hardly use, and I thought about how the can koozie and freezie pop holder essentially do the same thing.

This is a great beginner sewing project, only requiring a bit of hand-sewing. Let's upcycle!

1 neoprene can koozie

Sewing needle

Sewing thread

Scissors

Freezie Pop (or whatever else you call it)

Use the scissors to cut the koozie in half from top to bottom.

Flip your koozie pieces inside out.

Thread your needle, knot the thread, and sew up the open side of the koozie from top to bottom. I found the running stitch works best. Here's a picture I found on how to do that.

Carefully flip the koozie right-side out again. You shouldn't see much of the stitching.

Insert a freezie pop of your choice and enjoy not having cold hands!

Forgot to mention: if you know how to use a sewing machine, you can make these even easier and faster!
