I started with a simple idea of flower earrings, something soft and pretty. But as I worked, it slowly turned into this bold, sunshine-yellow piece that just felt… happy.

I didn’t plan to make something this bright—it just happened.

Each petal is shaped by hand, not perfectly identical—and that’s what makes it feel real. The tiny pearls in the Center add a little detail, and the beads below move freely, catching light and attention with every step.

It’s not just about how it looks. It’s about how it feels when you wear it—bold, playful, a little different.

  1. Take around 1 meter of yellow fabric and cut a long strip of approximately 45cm long and 13cm broad.
  2. Fold the stripe multiple times to form a rough square shape, then cut it into a square(around 6cm). Keep it slightly uneven for a natural look.
  3. Now, take any scrap cloth and turn it into a ball, then place it on one of the squares we cut (same yellow cloth).
  4. A piece of cloth rolled into a ball will act as the inner filling of your petal.
  5. Gather the fabric around the scrap using your fingers to form a small bud shape. Take a thread and start wrapping tightly around the base of the bud.
  6. Once the shape is secured, tie 4 tight knots using the same thread. Now, trim the excess thread if needed.
  7. This completes one fabric petal. Repeat the process to make multiple petals (around 7 petals for one pair of earrings).

  1. Take a needle and thread that passes through the needle.
  2. Take one finished petal.
  3. Insert the needle through the base/end of the petal.
  4. Leave a small portion of the thread at the starting point (don’t pull it entirely).
  5. Now take the second petal, pass the needle through its base as well, and repeat the process with 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th.
  6. All petals will now be connected in a line through the same thread.
  7. Once all petals are inserted, gently pull the needle /thread.
  8. As you pull, the petals will automatically come together and form a circular flower.
  9. Now take the thread you left at the starting point. Tie it with the current thread to make a tight knot(secure it with 2-3 extra knots). Cut the extra thread, and if needed, make more stitches at the back of the flower to secure it strongly.
  10. Your flower is ready-forms naturally just by pulling the thread.
  11. By following the same process, make another flower.

  1. Take a needle and thread that passes through the needle.
  2. Take a long length of thread and secure one end onto the table using paper tape.
  3. With the help of the needle, insert beads one by one.
  4. After reaching the desired length, pass the needle back through all beads in reverse. Bring the needle out from the top bead.
  5. This locks the beads neatly without knots. Repeat this process nd make 4 stands together, and make a knot on the top of the 4 stands and make 1 cluster.
  6. Make 4 such bead stands together to form one hanging cluster.
  7. Repeat this to create a total of 3 clusters (each with 4 stands).

  1. Take a needle and thread, and pass the thread through the needle. Tie a small knot at the end of the thread.
  2. Take one beaded hanging(cluster), insert the needle through the top of the hanging.
  3. Now pass the needle through the bottom of the flower, and pull the thread to fix it in place.
  4. Stitch it 2-3 times to make it strong and tie a knot at the back to secure it.
  5. Repeat the same for all 3 hangings.
  6. All hangings are attached neatly using only needle and thread.

  1. Take earring studs, apply a small amount of glue using a glue gun onto the studs.
  2. Place the studs onto the flower, and use a small piece of paper tape to hold it in place.
  3. Let it dry properly so it sticks firmly.
  4. And our beautiful handmade sunshine earrings are ready to shine.
