This is a great indoor or outdoor game for improving your putting skills. You can use metal horseshoes if you have them but why not make your own.

Rules are simple:

Horseshoes are set a suitable distance apart on the grass or carpet. Single players or teams of two putt (one at a time) toward one of the shoes. You must be behind the line of the shoe you are putting from.

Scoring: In the shoe = 5 points. On the top edge of the shoe = 3 points. Touching the shoe= 2 points. On the grass or carpet within one foot of the shoe = 1 point.

The team with the highest score cancels out the team with the lowest. Switch ends and keep playing until one team or player reaches 21.

Too hard? Move the shoes closer until skill develops. Or- make up your own rules.
