The Half Double Crochet Slip Stitch , also called the Yarn Over Slip Stitch combines two stitches- The Half Double Crochet and The Slip stitch. These two stitches worked together in a pattern creates a lovely dense woven texture with no visible holes or gaps. This stitch is a great alternative to a typical slip stitch.

This is a simple and quick stitch to learn, and is very beginner friendly. If you just know how to slip stitch and half double crochet, you’ll pick it up quickly.
