Using the large mixing bowl attachment(stand mixer) pour in:

  1. Entire box mix

  3. 1/4 cup of canola oil
  4. 1/4 cup of melted unsalted butter

Using the stand mixer on low or medium speed for 30 seconds to 1 minute, mix the batter until the eggs are fully incorporated, then turn off the mixer. While the mixer is off, add the remaining 2 large eggs and 1 tsp of vanilla extract to the mixture, then mix again on medium speed for 1-2 minutes until the lumps are out.

Pouring the Batter

Pour the batter into the cake pans' center, letting it evenly spread across the pan so it bakes correctly.

*Tip: You can tap the sides of the pan to get the batter to spread out evenly.
