Do you ever have a craving for a cookie and a brownie at the same time but don't know which one to choose? Well you have definitely come to the right place for that! I am going to teach you how to make crunchy on the outside, gooey on the inside, brookies. I am making these to share this absolutely incredible recipe with other people, because I can't only share it with a couple, they're too good for that! If you follow this easy tutorial you will never look back.

  2. 2 tbsp cocoa powder

Melt Your Dark Chocolate and Butter

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit before you do anything else. In your microwavable bowl melt the dark chocolate and butter together with short lengths of time in the microwave until smooth and creamy. Put it aside to let it cool while prepping everything else.

Mix Your Eggs and Sugars Together

IMG_1405.jpeg

In your mixing bowl beat together the eggs and both the granulated and brown sugar. Do this until it's pale and thick, keep doing it for 3-5 minutes of whisking on medium high speed.

Whisk Your Wet Ingredients

Add your chocolate and butter mixture into the sugar and eggs, also adding the vanilla extract. Mix it in until it's just combined.

Mix Your Dry Ingredients and Add Them to the Wet Ingredients

In your big bowl mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and the salt. Gently mix in the wet ingredients, but make sure to not overmix. Doing this will ensure the cookies are tender.

Scoop and Bake Your Cookie Dough

Line your baking pan with parchment paper and scoop your desired amount of cookie dough into the baking pan. Put the baking pan in the preheated oven until a toothpick can come out clean when you poke the brookies.

Enjoy!!!

Reflection

I hope you really enjoyed this tutorial and really enjoyed the brookies as well! I recommend doing this with a friend or with a family member to enjoy it even more. This was a very chocolaty, gooey, delicious recipe that was also very fun and easy to make! I learned that you don't just need to make basic things like normal cookies, but you can add a delicious twist to it and make something like brookies. I did this recipe twice so that I could make sure it's really good and so I made barely any mistakes the second time.
