How to Add Social Media Icons to Blogger?

These icons are gateways to your social profiles and with one click your users will be redirected to your respective social page.

This also enhances the professional image of your website as it becomes more user-friendly.

There are loads of icons available on Google that too in different shapes, colours, sizes. They also differ in graphics like there are social media icons vector, social media icons png and lots more.

Let us begin with How to add social media icons to Blogger?

In this step, you need to copy paste the code given below in an MS-WORD document or notepad.

This code is base code for every social media icon you want to add. That means if you want to add 5 media icons then you will need to paste the code 5 times.

In this step, you just need to Google - Free social media icons and download any set you like. Remember there are vast varieties of social icons available online some are free some are paid. I would suggest you go with free icons as there are really very beautiful options available.

In this step, you have to head to your blogger workspace and hit the button New Post.

After that click on Add Image.

A dialogue box appears on your screen. Upload any icon you want to add from the downloaded social media icon set. For example, you select the Pinterest icon.

Then before clicking on Add selected, right click on the image and select Copy image address.

Go to your Word document where you have pasted the code. Paste this image address in place of Paste Image Address.

You have to repeat this step for every icon.

It is time to paste your social profile URL in your code.

For this just head to your page or profile like for Pinterest open your profile and copy the URL from the address bar.

Head back to your Word document and paste this URL in place of Your Social URL.

Repeat this step for every icon.

After completing the process of copy-pasting, now your code is ready. Just save the document and head towards Layout tab in Blogger.

Decide where you want your icons to appear and then go to that place and click on ADD GADGET.

I would suggest you select the sidebar for your icons to appear. This makes the look of your website complete and clean and at the same time more colourful.

Select the HTML box gadget from the Gadgets List.

Here just copy paste the whole code and click on Save.

Click on Save Arrangement.
