How to Clean a Litter Box and Maintain a Litter Box

Cleaning a litter box regularly is very important and it helps keep you and the cats healthy and safe as well as the owner healthy

Supplies needed to replace with fresh litter-

1. Gloves
2. Face Mask
3. Arm and Hammer clump and seal litter
4. litter box deodorizer
5. Purifying pack
6. Scooper
7. Clorox wipes
8. Lysol spray
9. Large double duty trash bags

HOW TO MAINTAIN DURING THE 2 WEEKS- SCOOP EVERY OTHER DAY

On the days that you are scooping-

Supplies needed-

1. Cat bags
2. Litter
3. Litter deodorizer
4. Scooper
5. Gloves
6. Face Mask
7. Clorox wipes

STEPS TO COMPLETE – FOR CLEAN LITTER – SWITCH OUT EVERY 2-3 WEEKS

Step 1- Put on your gloves and mask. Also get all your supplies ready.

Step 2- Empty the dirty litter into the double duty trash bags. Dispose of into outside trash bins

Step 3- Add new litter to the box

Step 4- Add litter deodorizer on top and mix around with CLEAN litter scooper

Step 5- Add the purifying pack to the new litter box.

STEPS-

1. Scoop the litter into the waste bags and discard outside in trash bins
2. Top off the litter box with extra fresh litter
3. Add more deodorizer on top
4. Wipe the litter box outside with Clorox wipes
5. Spray the room and around the litter box with Lysol spray
