Prepare the Broken Shoe and Inspect the Damage
First, place the damaged shoe in front of you and carefully inspect the problem area. In this case, the shoe strap had come loose from the sole, creating a small gap where the strap was separated.
Insert Cotton Inside the Broken Area
Take a small piece of cotton and place it inside the gap where the strap was pulled out from the sole. Push the cotton deep into the damaged area so it can act as a support layer and help create a stronger grip for the repair.
Apply Super Glue to Secure the Strap
After placing the cotton inside, apply a small amount of super glue into the gap. Make sure to work quickly because super glue dries very fast.
Fix the Strap Back Into Position
Immediately after applying the glue, push the loose strap firmly back into its original position inside the sole. Press it properly so that the strap gets attached securely before the glue dries.
Reinforce the Repair for Extra Strength
Once the strap is fixed, add another small piece of cotton over the repaired area and apply super glue again. This reinforces the connection from the outside and helps create a stronger bond between the strap and the sole.
After the glue dries completely, the repaired area will have a much stronger grip, making the shoe usable again.
