How to Make a Gamer Security System

In this instructable, I will show you how to make a security system that's catered to PlayStation gamers. This will give gamers a recognizable and easy way to operate security without having to learn any new gimmicks or controls.

Here are the supplies that I used, a wide variety of electrical parts that connect and work with each other in order to achieve the optimal security system. I also used duct tape to connect and mount certain components.

Connecting the Wires to the Media Player

Connect the wires that passes video and sound to the media player. This will give the screen that will be installed later on visuals and sound.

Connecting the Sound and Video Wires

Connect the video and sound cords from the media player to the extended wires, then they'll be connected to the interface board.

Connecting the Controller

Connect the controller that will control the camera to the interface board.

Connecting the HDMI Cables

Insert one end of the HDMI cables to the media player. This will give power from the media player to the camera.

Connecting the Camera

Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the camera, this gives power to the camera and visuals to the screen that will be applied later on.

Powering the Media Player

Connect the power supply wire to the media player, this ensures that all components of the security system is powered.

Mounting the Bracket

Tape the bracket to the media player, this will give the screen a support to lean to. This ensures that the screen doesn't get damaged.

Mount the Interface Board to the Bracket

Tape the interface board to the bracket, this will make the next step much easier.

Attack the Screen to the Bracket

Tape the screen to the bracket, making sure that it properly covers the interface board.
