How to Make a Jumping Money Frog

This is a Jumping Money Frog that can be made with any kind of American dollar.

Supplies

5_dollar_bill.jpg

Any kind of USD will work. I am using a 5 dollar bill.

Fold

Take your dollar bill face up and make sure it is straightened. Fold the right corner in to align with the left edge.

Open

Open up the dollar so that there is a diagonal crease.

Fold

Fold the left corner in to make another crease.

Open and Fold

Open the fold so that there is two creases in an X shape now. Push the sides of the crease inward and push down.

The two should fold inward and make a triangle shape.

Fold

Fold the unfolded part of the dollar to the side.

Unfold

Unfold and make sure there is a crease.

Fold the other side over.

Pinch

Unfold and pinch the two sides together like we did before.

When closed it should look like this.

Fold the etra bit up and align it with the edge of the other fold.

Press

Press it down. Make sure the alignment is straight.

Fold the bit you just folded in half towards yourself.

Flip

Flip the dollar over so that it looks like this.

Fold the right side in so that the edge is straight and lined up with the middle.

Fold the other side the same way.

Flip up the bottom triangle.

Open up the inside of the bottom triangle you folded to make room for the two triangles.

Insert

Put the two triangles inside the bottom triange. It should look like this after and be able to hold itself together.

Flip the dollar over.

Fold

Fold the right flap up.

Fold

Fold the other flap up the same.

Fold the rectangular piece down and straight.

Do the same for the other side. These will become the legs of the frog.

Fold the legs in half inward.

Fold the legs in half again. Make sure the legs are folded well as this is how it will jump.

Fold the right triangle in half. This will become the arms of the frog.

Do the same for the other triangle.
