A long piece of raffia

lots of Puakenikeni

Find a puakenikeni tree and pick at least 50 flowers

Wash and cut the stems of the flowers

attach raffia to lei needle

start to string the puakenikeni through the lei needle and raffia

tie the string together to make a "necklace" shape
