How to Make a Samsung Fold 8 With Cardboard
Hello, and today I will be showing you how to make a Samsung Fold 8 out of cardboard. (This is my first ever time on Instructables) Please FOLLOW THE PICTURES or your finished result may not come out the best. As well as the pictures, READ THE INSRUCTIONS BEFORE DOING ANYTHING.
Supplies
You will need:
Glue (PVA recommended)
Tape (any as long as it’s not duct tape or double tape but masking is best)
Paper (black and a colour of your choice)
Black marker
Scissors
Cardboard
Cardboard Cutouts
First, find the size of the phone (folded) and cut that size rectangle out of cardboard twice.
Joining
Join them together with the tape on both sides, first when the slices on top of each other then on the indies where the screen is.
Glue Glue Glue
Put glue on one side. (Both partitions)
Yay Paper
Fold it (glue on outside) and put the paper on one side.
More Paper
Still folded, wrap paper around the hinge (loosely) and the second partition.
Cut
Slice off the hinge paper overhang.
More Cut
On the side with a big chunk of paper, cut off so there’s only 2cm of paper on that side.
Even More Cut :)
Cut off corners.
Overhangs
.Fold in the overhangs with glue
Ooh Screen
Put glue on the side that isn’t just yellow then put black paper on that side.
Hinge Fold
Run your finger carefully down the hinge (on the screened side) and carefully fold it.
More Screen
unfold it, and put glue on the right side then put black paper on and u know the process (step 10) (that picture is the wrong way, the black paper goes on the right side.)
Test Fold
Test fold it 5 times.
Screenery
On the side with no screen, mark a barely visible line 1cm long in the middle. Then, write Samsung .
Camera
Find camera module size, cut that size out with thin thin cardboard, then glue it where it would be.
More Camera
Draw 2 1.5 cm circles with black paper, glue them onto thin thin cardboard then glue them on like in the picture. When done, dot a dot under the cameras with yellow marker.
