How to Make a Simlab Car in Tinkercad.
Today, you and I will be making a Simlab car in Tinkercad. The car can be any color but this one is going to be simple so after this you can make any car you desire!! Also we are not making the car on the title photo (sorry.)
Supplies
Tinkercad, 1 Sketch, 4 cylinders and simlab.
Start and Shape
To start place a sketch and enter it. Then put a dot in the middle. make it go 14.14 upper right. then go 30 to the right. Then go down 15 and after that look under the green checkmark look for a side-ways S. press it and keep going. Put a dot 7.07 upper left. Then do the same but down. then go 20 to the left and stop there. Go up-left 6.40. Then the same down. Then go 3 left. after that go up-left 1.41, up 3. finally go up-right 2.24. It should look like the shape above.
Wheels
press on the upper right box that is white. then press on the 42 and change it to 50. Then add two cylinders in the little holes of the sketch. Make them smaller to fit like in the photo. change the front wheel to be a hole and group it to the "car." but before you group it make sure you copy it (Ctrl + C) and paste it (Ctrl + V.) Then move the 2nd cylinder back to its spot. You should have the shape in the first photo (I think?)
SIMLAB Stuff
After that go into the falling apple. Then press on the weird shape the arrow is pointing at in the photo it looks like a pillar. then put 2 of those on the middle of the wheels. Then if you see the little panel click on the motor type and change it to continuous. Now this is where you're on your own. You can change the speed in any way you want. BUT you have to make the speed negative so the car go's forward. Then after that if you see (you can) there are little circles near the pillar. Grab the gray one and connect it to the "car."
Derby Cars or Control Cars. (optional)
So 2 parts to this 1 derby's and 2 control cars. First derbys
Derby cars: So your Basically not going to add any motor but still, connect the weird circles (the gray one) to the "car."
Control cars: This one is a bit tricky. But you will get it. So after you connect the circles you have to make the speed 0 or else this won't work. Then after that press "Edit Interactions" and you should see a keyboard. Now you press the key and set the speed and "BOOM!" done!! (:
Finish.
Now Ta-Da your finished!!! now make sure you like and show this to tinkerers in need!! BYEEEEEE!!
