How to Make an Easy F-14 Tomcat Model
Have a useless dollar bill Thats not ever to be spent and you wanna fold something too? Well then… you’ve came to the right place! So grab your dollar bill and let’s get folding!
Supplies
- $1 dollar bill
- two hands
Fold in Half
I would be really surprised if you didn’t know how to do this.
Pre-crease for a Water Bomb Base
Unfold that first crease and fold the top two corners down on both sides.
Do a Water Bomb Base
Collapse the paper on the “X” shape at the top.
Fold the Back Corners In
Flip over, rotate upside down and fold the two corners in.
Fold in Again
Just fold the bottom two corners in again just on the other side.
Fold Down and Back Up
There aren’t really any crucial measurements for this step.
Fold the Water Bomb Base Up
When you do this (on the other side) make sure it lines up with the edge just underneath it.
Fold the Corners Out and the Whole Thing in Half
Again, there are no real measurements for the corners you fold out, and then fold the entire thing in half.
Fold the Wings Down and the Fins Up
Just like for a glider or dart but just with fins.
Repeat and Unfold
Repeat the other wing and fin, unfold both the wings so they’re flat across the back.
Finishing Touches
Roll out the intakes on the bottom of the wings and write the name “F-14” on one of the wings (optional).
Finished
I did say this was a model and not a flyer so I wouldn’t recommend throwing it.
