This is a way to safely light fireworks, but always remember that fireworks are always dangerous no mater how careful you are. Always use caution when handling any sort of firework.

for this step you will need:

  1. a firework
  2. four concrete blocks

Find a flat surface in an open field and set the firework on it, then set the concrete blocks around it to stabilize it so that it does not fall over (see picture).

For this step you will need:

  1. the setup from step 1
  2. the lighter or matches

First pull off the plastic covering that is on top of the firework. Then peel of the tape that holds the fuse in place. Before lighting the fuse make sure all people are a safe distance away. Once everyone is safe, light the fuse and run away from the firework as fast as you can until you are a safe distance away. Enjoy the fireworks!!!
