How to Unlock MDM / DEP Corporative IPhone & IPad

The Mobile Device Management (MDM) protocol provides a way for system administrators to send device management commands to managed iOS devices. Through the MDM service, an IT administrator can inspect, install, or remove profiles; remove passcodes; and begin secure erase on a managed device.

The MDM protocol is built on top of HTTP, transport layer security (TLS), and push notifications. The related MDM check-in protocol provides a way to delegate the initial registration process to a separate server.

MDM uses the Apple Push Notification Service (APNS) to deliver a “wake up” message to a managed device. The device then connects to a predetermined web service to retrieve commands and return results.

If your device is MDM lock you can identify it by next text on iPhone & iPad screen:

1. The configuration for your iphone could not be downloaded. the configuration is not available.

Or in General settings of iPhone or iPad you find MDM Profile with description, contains, apps and restriction.

1. Fill in the Order Form

Write down your e-mail address, serial number of your device or IMEI. Make a photo of MDM locked screen, attach it and send to iActivate support team. So iActivate support teamwe will be able to check and verify as well.

2. Confirmation & Payment

After confirmation you will get answer and a PayPal details on your e-mail address. When the payment will be completed your serial number/IMEI will be added to MDM database.

3. Download iActivate software from download page here.

4. Install and Run iActivate.

5. Click on Start iActivate Server.

You will see successful message like: host is running now. In iActivate 4 you will see details of your device like IMEI, Serial and UDID, iOS version. This means that our soft successfully detected your device.

Attention: If your device is running iOS 11 and above DO NOT RESTORE.

Simply follow steps below:

• Device must be turned ON
• Launch iActivate
• Connect device to Windows pc and click Start button in iActivate
• Wait until device reboots and activate it using WiFi without MDM lock.

5. For iOS 10.3.3 and lower: Open iTunes and restore your device using DFU mode. Don’t close iActivate tool while iTunes is restoring your device. A valid SIM card must be inserted into device during the restore and activation process.

6. For iOS 10.3.3 and lower: Activate your device using iTunes. Once you see “Welcome to Your New iPhone message” click on “Set up as new iPhone” button. Now you can close iTunes.

7. Continue setup instructions on device using WIFI or 3G.

Congratulations now your device don’t have MDM profile installed!

8. Recommended: Use iTunes or iBackupbot to make backup of your bypassed device.

1. Make backup of your bypassed device using iTunes or any other 3rd parties software like ibackupbot.
2. Download new iOS firmware to your PC.
3. Update your iDevice using iTunes.
4. Pay attention! After your device has being restored click on “Recover device from backup”. Choose backup you created at step 1 of this section. After restore from backup completed your device should be running latest iOS free of device management.
