HII this is first ever tutorial so I apologize if its buns but I will try my best to to teach you step by step (this may not be all the steps)

Supplies

were going to be doing a small tie for now I will upload a bigger one if I can, supplies you'll need is 179 pony beads and you'll need atleast 80 inches of string depending on your neck size

First Process

step one.jpg
step two.jpg

first have both ends of the string, add only one bead on a string and add two beads on the other end

Thread the add either side of the string through them going right, and the right string through them going left. Pull tight horizontally to lock them together.

Stitch

step four.jpg

Pull both ends of the string firmly in opposite directions. The beads will snap together to form your first secure block of the ladder stitch.

Next Thread

step five.jpg

lide three new red pony beads onto one side of the cord. This row is slightly wider than the last one, allowing your tie to start taking its classic shape. (Both sides does'nt matter as you go throughout)

Stitch

step six.jpg

slide three new red pony beads onto one side of the cord. This row is slightly wider than the last one, allowing your tie to start taking its classic shape.

Next Thread

step seve.jpg

Slide four red pony beads onto one side of your cord. By increasing the number of beads by one each time, the tie will naturally get wider with every row.

Stitch

step eight.jpg

Pass your second string all the way through the four beads from the opposite side. Pull both ends tightly to lock this row flat against the previous row

Repeat

Keep repeating the widening process by adding a 5-bead row, and then finally a 6-bead row. Once you tighten the 6-bead row, your project should look like this perfect upside-down triangle shape!

Now that your tie has reached its full width, stop increasing the bead count. Repeat the 6-bead criss-cross process over and over until you have built a straight section that is 12 rows long.

Decrease Bead Count

Once you finish your 12 straight rows, it is time to make the pointed tip. Start decreasing your bead count by one for each new row. For example, make a row of 5 beads, then a row of 4 until then stop at the amount of three beads when loading exactly 3 new red pony beads onto one side of the cord. Get ready to lock them in place.

Increase Count

Once you hit the narrowest part of your tie with 3 beads, it's time to flare it back out! Add 4 beads to your string, criss cross, and pull tight.

Next, do a row of 5 beads. Finally, add your last row of 6 beads. Cinch it firmly, tie a secure double knot at the end, and cut the extra string. Your tie is officially done!"

Bonus

for the rest of the string as your neck strap I recommend using elastic string optional to add beads on the neck strings
