K'nex Micro Tie Fighter - Star Wars
Hello! This is my first instructable, but not my last! Today I will show you how to make a mini K'nex tie fighter. It is pretty simple but there instructions for this micro model.Happy building!
Parts
K'nex Rods:
8x White/Gray Rods
8x Black/Green Rods
1x Gray/Yellow Rod
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
K'nex Connectors:
2x Black/White Semicircle Connectors
8x Red/Gray Three-Way Connectors
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
K'nex Clips/Other
1x Black Open Center Motorcycle Hub
2x Black K'nex Men Head Wheels
4x Gray/Tan Connector Clips
The Base
As followed in the pictures.First you make the cockpit, and put the clips on the rod that will hold the wings and the whole craft together. This is a very simple model, but is helpful when you want to make a whole bunch of them.
The Wings
As followed in the pictures. The first thing you do in this step is make the sides of the wings, and then insert the white rods or gray rods to finish off the wings.
Final Assembly
As followed in the pictures. As form the title, this is the last step, but the most important step.First you put the wings and cockpit together, and then you put two more gray clips to keep the wings in place. This is my most simple model yet, but can be put in more complicated models such as a Imperial star destroyer or a carrier.I hope you enjoyed this instructable, and found it useful for any other k'nex builds you might be working on!
