Have you ever hit the snooze button one too many times and ended up rushing out the door? Then later you realize you can’t find your keys. You check the table, the couch, your backpack—still nothing. Losing keys when you’re in a hurry can be really frustrating.

That’s where the Honeycomb Key Holder comes in. This simple and stylish holder keeps your keys in one easy-to-remember place. Just slide your keys into the honeycomb slots and they’ll stay securely in place until you need them again.

This is made for speed.

Choose the printing settings. For this project, PLA filament works well because it is strong, easy to print, and good for indoor items like a key holder. Set the layer height to about 0.2 mm for a good balance between print quality and speed. You should also use about 15–20% infill so the holder is strong enough to support the weight of keys.

Putting It on the Wall

If you choose to use screws, first hold the key holder against the wall where you want it to go. Use a pencil to mark the spots for the screw holes. Then drill small pilot holes into the wall. Place the key holder back against the wall and use a screwdriver to secure it with screws. This method is the strongest and works best if you plan to hang multiple sets of keys.

If you prefer glue or adhesive, apply a strong wall-safe adhesive or mounting tape to the back of the key holder. Press it firmly against the wall for about 30–60 seconds so it sticks well. Let the adhesive set according to the instructions before hanging any keys.

Once the holder is attached, slide your keys into the honeycomb slots. Now your keys will always be in the same place, making them easy to grab when you’re heading out the door.
