Hello !

here is something very helpful when you need to solder components on a PCB easily and comfortably ;)

I used everything i could find in my drawers to complete it, everyone would do better probably.

Veroboard appearing on the pictures not needed :) ;) it's just for my own one

I used my bambu Lab A1 and FreeCad.

Don't bother with PLA filament color, i used what i owned :)

You'll need to print

2 x handle

2 x jaw

3 x looking wheel

2 x square holder

Supplies

You'll need :

  1. a steel square profile used as cabinet foot (25x25mm)
  2. two pieces of 6mm round profile
  3. a compression spring, soft to medium, length of 10 mm
  4. 3 M5 nuts
  5. 3 M5 hexagonal head screw, 20mm length
  6. super glue
  7. 4x countersunk head M3 screw, length of 10mm
  8. 3D printer, my own is a Bambu Lab A1

Initial Need and Modeling

FreeCad modeling

According to what was in my head, it's easy to think about each item one by one.

you'll find a complete view :

Printing Each Item

each component print in PLA

with those settings : layer 0.20mm, 40% fill.

You'll need to print :

2x square holder

3x locking wheel

2x jaw

2x handle

Assembly

Let's do it !

no difficulties in this step.

Think about what needs to be glued : nuts on their cages, M5 screws on locking wheel.

You'll have the choice about gluing 6mm round profile on jaw and handle. If it fits thightly, no need to glue, ...

Don't forget the spring !! ;)
