Paper Origami Base

This is a brief introduction on origami, and how to make a simple square base from printer paper.

FIRST, you need to know what Origami is. It is a art, made with only paper and folding. It originated in Japan, and has been carried throughout the rest of the world. It mainly focuses on paper animals, but you can make all sorts of stuff!

Basic printer paper

Scissors

Marker-Optional

Before we start, note that I will be marking the folding areas with a sharpie, so you know where you should end up. If you want, you can too.

Fold your piece of paper so that the corner in one of the two shorter sides is directly split in half.

Cut where the folded and unfolded spots meet to make a folded triangle.

Unfold your piece of paper. You have a printer paper origami base!
