Take your skill saw and cut four 2x4 to 35” and four to 20” to later on make the 2 outsides of the box to make the frame of the box. this will help the frame of the box be more sturdy .

Grab two pieces of each length of 2x4 and put two screws into each end attatching pieces together to make a box. Then repeat this step to make the second box for the frame of the plyo box.

Now cut four more 2x4 to 17", then grab your 2 boxes you made previously and screw those four pieces and attach them to the four corners of the two boxes to form a cube shape out of these pieces and this will give the box lots of stability.

Now grab 6 fence boards and take them one at a time and make it flush with the one end of the box and put two screws into the end of the board. Repeat this step as many times as you need till you cover the whole side of the box. Once it is covered go back and put two screws into every boards on the other end of the box to secure each box.

Now repeat step 4 and do it on the opposite side of the box and grab 6 fence boards and take them one at a time and make it flush with the one end of the box and put two screws into the end of the board. Repeat this step as many times as you need till you cover the whole side of the box. Once it is covered go back and put two screws into every board on the other end of the box to secure each box.

Now you are going to repeat step number 5 and take your skill saw and go cut of the excess ends of the fence boards and go along the edge all the way through make the fence boards perfectly inline with the frame of the box. This will now create the two big side of the box.

Finish Putting Boards on the Outer

IMG_0320.jpg

You are going to repeat steps 6 and 4 and use up the rest of the fence boards and finish the other six sides that don't have any boards on them and use the excess shorter pieces that were from the other sides if they end up being big enough for the smaller sides. Then once you have screwed enough deck boards to cover the other four sides then grab your skill saw and cut all the excess stuff to make sure the boards line up with the frame.

Finish and Paint (optional)
