"Roaring Color"- a Rainbow Lion Painting

I created a painting of a lion's face in a colorful rainbow style. I created this because I absolutely love animals and including bold color schemes into my artwork.

For this painting you will need:

1. Water based acrylic paint (or your preferred paint)
2. 18x24 multi-purpose paper
3. Paint pallet
4. Water cup
5. Paper towels
6. Paint brushes

Step one is creating your sketch. It is very helpful to add a grid when wanting your proportions to be exact.

Step two is painting. With a large scale painting the most important thing is patience. It will be time consuming but rewarding in the end.
