Crocheted Mats are one of those underrated home essentials that everyone needs but rarely buys for themselves. By crocheting one, you are giving a gift that is both beautiful and highly functional.

If you love lazy beach days and effortless summer stitches, this project is for you. Today am sharing the pattern for Sandy Shores Crochet Ombre Beach Mat. I made this as a part of the All Summer Crochet Blog Hop 2026 | 15 Free Patterns, 15 Days, One Beautiful Summer with Sandra from Sandra Stitches.

The Sandy Shores Ombre Beach Mat combines ocean gradients with a durable, functional design that is perfect for your next coastal getaway. Whether you're making this for an upcoming vacation or just want to bring a little bit of the ocean into your living room, I hope you enjoy stitching it as much as I enjoyed designing it!

  2. Yarn over and pull up a loop. You should have 2 loops on the hook.
  3. Turn your project and insert the hook into the first stitch.
