A minimalist sculptural coat rack designed through the intersection of two organic wooden forms. The project combines functionality, digital fabrication, and contemporary furniture aesthetics into a flat-pack object that can be assembled without screws, nails, or glue.

Supplies

To build the coat rack, you will need:

  1. 1 plywood sheet
  2. Size: 122 × 244 cm (4’ × 8’)
  3. Thickness: 1.5 cm (15 mm)

Preferred material:

  1. Oak plywood
  2. Walnut plywood
  3. Birch plywood with wood veneer finish

Using high-quality plywood is recommended to achieve better edge finishes, stronger joints, and a cleaner overall appearance after CNC cutting.

Once the two main pieces are assembled, they are positioned onto the base by fitting them into the corresponding openings.
