Shadow Projector

This is Shadow Projector that is built with the help of trash items that often remains unused in homes .

It projects shadows of object that we put or design on it's screen front side .

I used simple Physics and trash items to built it .

Now days cardboard are common in houses also led light's are common in use in many devices but after single use cardboard often becomes an unusable object also in damage electronic devices we found led light's very easily , so i used them to built something useful and educational , in daily food item packaging we use butter papers which also contains cardboard tube that is also a major object i used to built shadow projector .

In this project i used more than 90% trash items that often found in homes .

This project provides idea to observe surrounding and use the trash in the best way it can .

Basically I focused to use only trash items and to combine trash with physics phenomena to built something educational and useful .

This project inspires to use trash to the best way it can be use .

Here materials that is use to built it is common in every day use and also a common trash that can be reuse to built something like it .

Packaging is common in now days lifestyle , but after single use it becomes a trash here , i tried to use it.

This project is the result of daily observation of shadow formation .

1. Design a body as shown in image on cardboard
2. Cut it
3. than paste all parts together to form the body of projector

1. Paste paper sheets to provide it a better look
2. design on it with paper sheet whatever you want

1. Add a mechanical stability detector that helps to alert when it remains unstable
2. Use ice cream stick , spring , wire and a buzzer to built it
3. Design it as shown

1. Take cardboard paper tube
2. take led light's and switches
3. Now wire lights with switches
4. Put led lights inside the tube
5. you can choose different color led
6. Also connect battery conductor in this to connect battery

1. Now put tube inside the body of projector
2. Also put mechanical stability detector
3. Check all connections with battery and switches correctly
4. Than simply attach all inside projector body as shown

1. Use cardboard to make it's stand
2. Cut and paste cardboard pieces in the shape as shown in images
3. Apply insulation tape on it
4. Use cardboard tube to complete the stand

1. Now fix all the parts together
2. Put projector on stand
3. Here you can use 1 or 2 tube to adjust size you required

Now design whatever you want and display

1. Now if you use it in day use white plane surface to project
2. During night you can also use it
3. You can switch on mechanical stability feature it will produce a sound through buzzer if device unstable
4. You can use this feature as an earthquake detector
5. Use magnifying glass lens to see differ sizes
6. Your distance from screen can also vary sizes of images

It is easy to built this project from trash , this shows how simple science turns trash into treasure .

You can use mechanical stability detector also as a safety feature to alert during earthquake , this detector will work whenever the body of projector will vibrate as it is attached with it .
