Smart Recycling Bench
The Smart Recycling Bench is a community-focused design that combines seating, recycling, composting, and environmental education into one structure. The bench includes separate compartments for trash, recycling, and compost, making waste disposal easier and more organized. A digital display on the back of the bench can show environmental facts, recycling statistics, or community announcements. Decorative trees and a modern design help the bench fit into parks, schools, and public spaces. The purpose of this project is to encourage proper waste disposal, reduce litter, and educate people about sustainability. By combining technology with everyday public furniture, the Smart Recycling Bench helps create cleaner and greener communities.

Create the Base
Start by placing a large rectangular box on the workplane. This will serve as the foundation of the recycling bench and hold the waste compartments.
Build the Back Panel
Add a taller rectangular box on top of the back portion of the base. This section represents the information center where a digital display and educational screens will be located.
Add the Solar Panel
Place a large rectangular box on top of the back panel. Color it dark blue to represent a solar panel that provides renewable energy for the display and sensors.
Create the Digital Display
Add a large rectangle to the center of the back panel. Color it blue to represent the main screen that can display recycling statistics, environmental facts, and community information.
Add Side Information Screens
Place two smaller rectangular screens on both sides of the main display. These can be used for educational messages, recycling instructions, or advertisements promoting environmental awareness.
Build the Bench Seat
Add a long, thin rectangular box across the front section of the structure. Color it tan to resemble a wooden bench seat where people can sit.
Create the Waste Compartments
Place three square boxes along the front of the structure.
- Gray bin labeled "Trash"
- Blue bin labeled "Recycle"
- Green bin labeled "Compost"
These compartments allow people who use the bench to sort their waste properly.
Add Labels
Use the Text tool to create labels for each waste compartment. Position the labels on the front of the bins so users can easily identify where each type of waste belongs.
Add Decor
Place tree objects on both sides of the bench. These decorations help represent the environmental focus of the project and improve the appearance of the design.
Final Adjustments
Use the Align tool to center all components and make the design symmetrical. Adjust colors and sizing as needed to create a clean, professional-looking model.
