The Destroying of a Composition Notebook Part 1

I. Am. Bored. That's why I'm making a series of Instructables called TDAFOACN, The Destroying And Fixing of a Composition Notebook. It's where I will mess up a notebook then repair it over and over again.

1. Scissors
2. Very lightly used notebook
3. Clear tape
4. Duct tape

Using the scissors, cut out the pages you've already used, or if you don't care, leave them in. Now write "Test Subject" on the front.

Flip to the very center of the book. It should be easy because there will be a slight opening closer to the spine, and you'll be able to see the strings that hold the book together.

You can see where I'm going with this, right?

Now, CUT THOSE STRINGS! Or just pull them out. If you can't get the strings out in the middle, then just grab all of the paper and yank it out.

MEMORIES: Use some clear tape to preserve Stringy the String on the inside of the front cover.

Now, since we've separated the middle from the back and the front, it's time to separate the back from the front. Using the scissors, cut the spine down the middle.

I think we should put the pages back in the notebook so that we can still use it. Duct tape one page back to the cover, but leave the rest hanging unless you for some reason want to tape them all back together again.

Now we should repair the spine again. Just leave 1 inch of space in between them and tape it.

You did it!!!!!!!!!! Be careful and make sure your pages don't fall out.
