The Determination of Our Hearts

This jewelry project of rings and necklaces is based on the indie video game, “Undertale”, developed by the famous programmer Toby Fox, known for other hits such as “Deltarune”.

Why did we make this?

We chose to make jewelry based on this video game because of the connection we have with it, as it brought us closer as friends and created a relationship based on that. We also chose it for the originality of the character design and its emotional impact throughout the main stories of the game.

Supplies

What are the resources needed?

First of all you need a 3D printer, so you can print the jewelry and second you need plastic filament of many colours or 1 (depending on if your going to give it the colour like draw it into the piece),many colours is preferred as the best option in our opinion (By the way the colours you need for the rings are white, black, blue, yellow, purple and pink and for the hearths that is the necklace you’ll need orange, purple, blue, red, green, and pink)

The software that we used for this project was TinkerCad because it is easy, fast and reliable.

Creation or Inspiration

Step 1: Creation or Inspiration

Once we agreed on the topic, we did image research to find the most representative, as they are well recognized characters, minor modifications were made to maintain their features.

Modeling Process

Step 2:Modeling process

After deciding on the images or drawing, we used a square and sized it to 2x2 in width and height and 4 on deep (those were the most recommended measurements) and then the long and mindnumbing modeling starts Or the short and easy modeling (Depending on the character or sprite you use).

The End

Step 3:The end

After the excruciating hard work of placing the blocks down, merging the colours will be the next step. The amount of work will be directly related to the amount of colours used.
