The Perfect Bite Chocolate Chip Cookie!
Hi, today I will be showing you how to make chocolate chip cookies. I chose this topic because cookies are easy to make and don't require a lot of ingredients, and, they are something almost everyone enjoys. Learning how to bake cookies is also a useful skill you can use at home for yourself, your family, or special occasions. During this lesson, I will walk you through the steps of making cookies, from preparing the ingredients to baking them, so you can make your own successfully.

The supplies you will need are:

- 1 cup butter (2 sticks), softened

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, stir together 2 1/4 cups of flour, 1 tsp baking soda and 1/2 tsp salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients into the butter mixture, mixing until fully blended. stir in 2 cups of chocolate chips.
Bake and Enjoy!
Drop tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Let it cool slightly then enjoy!
Reflection
The hardest part of making the cookies was making sure everything was measured properly and mixed evenly. It was easy to rush, but I noticed that taking my time made a difference in how the dough turned out. Another challenge was trying to keep the cookies the same size so they would bake evenly.
If I were to do this again, I would be more careful with measuring and take extra time to make each cookie the same size. I would also watch the baking time more closely so they don’t overbake.
Overall, I think my cookies turned out well, and I learned that paying attention to small details can really improve the final result.
