Supplies

  1. Paper (Anything works, but graph paper can be given sharp creases easily)
  2. Flat object (I used the flat tip of a pair of pliers)
  3. Hands (Optional but optimal)
  4. Folding medium (Table is optimal)

Put Paper on Table

Place the paper onto the folding medium.

Fold Paper in Half

IMG_0837.jpeg

Fold the paper in half such that it creates a crease down the middle. (Hotdog style)

Fold Corner In

IMG_0838.jpeg

Fold the corner in until the formerly top edge of the fold perfectly meets the crease down the middle.

Do Other Corner

Fold the other corner in exactly mirrored to the previous step.

Fold Down Middle (again)

Use the crease down the middle that was made in step 2 to fold it perfectly in half with the corners still folded in.

Create Rough Airplane Shape (Left Wing)

Fold top edge down until the edge lines up perfectly with the bottom of the plane

Flip

Flip to the unfolded side of the plane.

Create Rough Airplane Shape (Opposite Wing)

Mirror step 6 on the unfolded side.

Fold Top Down Again

Fold the top edge down until it perfectly lines up with the bottom of the plane.

Same on Other Side

Flip it over and mirror the last step.

Creasing the Tip

Use your flat tool to get a good crease towards the tip of the plane. This helps it fly significantly better.
