Supplies

Square paper

bone folder (not needed but highly recommended)

pen or pencil (for rolling the air intakes and afterburners)

Make the First Fold

IMG_8800.jpeg

Just fold in half from corner to corner for the first step.

Fold Down on Both Sides

IMG_8801.jpeg
IMG_8802.jpeg

Fold the top side down to the bottom edge on both sides.

Do a Sequence

IMG_8803.jpeg
IMG_8804.jpeg
IMG_8806.jpeg

Unfold the first crease of the plane, fold down from the top, flip over, unfold the two sides and fold the top corners in on both sides.

Do Another Sequence

IMG_8807.jpeg
IMG_8808.jpeg
IMG_8809.jpeg

Unfold one of the sides, pinch and drag that crease to the center and repeat on the opposite side.

Fold in Again

IMG_8810.jpeg
IMG_8811.jpeg

Fold both the side into the center again (no dragging, no pinching, no nothing).

Release the Trapped Paper

IMG_8815.jpeg

All that trapped paper underneath is gonna be let out and then you’ll fold you're up in half from side to side.

Swivel the Wing

IMG_8817.jpeg
IMG_8818.jpeg

Fold to the blue edge, make a new crease from the edge on that squash and swivel the wing.

Re-collapse the Wing

IMG_8820.jpeg
IMG_8821.jpeg
IMG_8822.jpeg

unfold until you have this, pinch the more flat crease, and push up along the diagonal creases, lie it flat and repeat the other wing.

Prepare the Tail

IMG_8823.jpeg
IMG_8824.jpeg
IMG_8825.jpeg

Fold up until it meets two corners, unfold and flip over, fold all the way up, and fold down until the earlier crease meets the edge behind it.

Do Yet Another Sequence

IMG_8826.jpeg
IMG_8827.jpeg

Fold that top squash in half again, and fold up whats gonna be the air intakes.

Release More Trapped Paper

IMG_8828.jpeg
IMG_8829.jpeg
IMG_8830.jpeg

The paper underneath the air intake layers is gonna move to the other side on opposite sides.

Inside Reverse Fold

IMG_8831.jpeg
IMG_8832.jpeg
IMG_8833.jpeg
IMG_8834.jpeg

Unfold that top half and inside reverse the two sides in.

Form the Air Intakes

IMG_8836.jpeg

flip over and push the intakes in.

Lock the Air Intakes

IMG_8837.jpeg
IMG_8838.jpeg
IMG_8839.jpeg
IMG_8840.jpeg

Fold up, fold down to that crease and roll it all back in and repeat.

Pedal Fold

IMG_8841.jpeg
IMG_8842.jpeg
IMG_8843.jpeg
IMG_8844.jpeg

(You should really know how to do this)

Make the Afterburners

IMG_8845.jpeg
IMG_8847.jpeg
IMG_8848.jpeg

Fold the side out, fold back in to that crease and until it hits a point that separates the layers and roll it all back in and repeat.

Fold the Wings Up

IMG_8849.jpeg

(Imma be surprised if you don’t know how to do this)

Jet Fold

IMG_8850.jpeg
IMG_8851.jpeg

Fold out from the pedal fold then to the bottom and push the two sides in till they meet.

Pop Out the Tail

IMG_8852.jpeg

You can make the tail as big or small as you want.

Make the Gun

IMG_8853.jpeg
IMG_8854.jpeg

Pop out the pedal fold and push it back in and make sure that it lines up with the bottom of the jet fold line.

Fold in to the Center

IMG_8855.jpeg
IMG_8856.jpeg
IMG_8857.jpeg

Unfold one of the sides of the gun and fold to the center of it.

Lock the Plane

IMG_8858.jpeg
IMG_8859.jpeg
IMG_8860.jpeg

Fold the back layers up to the inside, unfold and fold to that crease and push it up to the inside again.

Roll Out the Intakes and Afterburners

IMG_8861.jpeg
IMG_8862.jpeg

You can use your pencil for this part.

Fold the Wings Up Again

Better safe than sorry…🤷
