Helmets usually cost a lot, especially the ones with goggles and flashlights and special additions added to the helmet. However, I made a helmet that is like one of those, yet kinda cheap depending on what helmet you have. I found my ski goggles and a ton of other stuff from my garage, but the velcro and some other items I got from my local crafts store. The helmet is relatively easy to make, and it took me about 10-15 minutes to make. I hope I made the instructions clear and easy!

Supplies

An old bike helmet

Ski goggles with strap at ends

An apple tracker or a tracker

A hot glue gun (with hot glue sticks)

Some electrical tape

Peel and stick heavy duty velcro (If you want the light to not fall off, use heavy duty type)

High powered flashlight

String

Soft foam

Scissors (Any cutting material)

Attaching the Flashlight

Cut the velcro into about how large your flashlight is but a little bit larger, in case you need extra. Peel the wrap off one side of the velcro, and attach the sticky part to the top middle of the helmet (Or where you want the light to be). Next, under the flashlight, not covering the charging port or the on button, attach a similar sized piece from the previous velcro size onto your flashlight on the bottom. Make sure its secure.

Attaching the Goggles

First, cut a piece of string using the scissors so that its length is about the tip of your index finger to your wrist. Now, put the ski goggles on the helmet wrapping around the helmet. Now thread the string through the hole right above your ski goggles in the back of the helmet, and hot glue it in place or tape it in place in the interior of the helmet (I used hot glue), and do it with the remaining string on that side. Do the same for the other end of the string, but with the hole below your ski goggles strap. Hot glue it also from the inside. Now you have secured the ski goggles in place.

Tracking and Extras

You can attach the tracker where it won't be exposed to lots of weather using glue, which I put in my inside of the helmet. I also lined the inside with soft foam, since when i'm biking, one of my favorite bikes doesn't have suspension, and my teeth rattle around when I bike or when I fall (Very rarely).

Safety

The helmet won't protect you from all impacts. Be careful when riding, and don't trust this helmet to protect you fully.
