Transfer Contacts From Samsung to IPhone With Google Account

How to transfer contacts from Android to iPhone? Recently, more and more people become multi-device owners, who have both an Android device and an iPhone, to enjoy more benefits. You can follow this guide step by step to transfer contacts from Samsung to iPhone simply.

Add Google Account on Samsung Phone.

On Samsung phone, enable Wi-Fi. You need to go to the “Settings”, scroll down to select “Accounts and Sync”, choose “Add Account”, then “Google”, tap on “Next” to sign into your Gmail account. If you don’t have an old account, just create a new one.

Sync Contacts to Google.

After signing into your Google account on Samsung phone, tick the box next to “Sync Contacts” option. Then your contacts on Samsung phone to be synced to Google Contacts automatically.

Export Contacts From Google Contacts.

Log in your Gmail on your computer. Click “Contacts” in the top right of the webpage. On the left side of the “Contacts” option, checkmark the contacts that you want to sync, click “More” and then click “Export” to save contacts from Google as vCard on computer.

Add Contacts to ICloud.

Go to www.icloud.com and log in with your iCloud account. Click “Contacts”. Navigate the bottom left side to choose “Import vCard”, and then select the exported vCard file you saved just now to iCloud. Then all contacts on Samsung phone will go into your iCloud.

Sync Contacts From ICloud to IPhone.

On your iPhone, go to “Settings”, tap [Your name], hit “iCloud” and toggle “Contacts” to ON. The pop-up message will ask would you merge your existing local contacts on your iPhone. You can hit “Merge” to keep both iPhone contacts and Samsung contacts.

The transferring process needs Internet connection. Make sure iPhone and Samsung phone Wi-Fi connected.
