Vanilla Cupcakes W/ Buttercream Frosting
1.Gather Ingredients
Cupcakes-
- Flour
- Sugar
- Butter
- Vanilla Extract
- Baking Powder
- 1 Egg
- Salt
- Milk
Frosting-
- Powdered Sugar
- Butter
- Vanilla Extract
- Milk
Cake Batter
2.Preheat oven to 350 degrees and add 12 liners to cupcake tin
3.Combine 1 cup flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, and 2/8 teaspoon salt.
4.In a separate bowl, whisk 2 eggs, 1/2 cup sugar, 4 teaspoons vanilla extract, and 8 tablespoons melted butter. Mix till well combined.
5.Combine 1/2 the dry mix and the wet mix. Add 1/2 cup milk and the rest of the dry mix, whisk till well incorporated.
6.Evenly split the mix into 12 liners, about 3/4 full. Bake on intensive for 15 minutes.
Frosting
7.Beat 1 2/4 cup powdered sugar and 6 tablespoons warm butter. Mix in 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract and 4 teaspoons milk until fluffy.
8.Let cake cool, then transfer onto a separate plate.
9.Frost with a butter knife and add toppings, like sprinkles, if you would like.
10.Serve, and enjoy.
