Write a table with the alphabet letters. There are many ways to proceed faster , like writing diagonally. Then mark with an highlighter the first letters like in the image

Choose a message and a keyword. The more long the keyword is the more difficult is to someone else to decipher it. Write under the message the keyword.

In case the keyword is too short/too long you can cut the word

Example: INSTRUCTABLE

I enlighten the letters that I used to understand better

Check on the table the message's letters on the columns and the keyword's letters on the rows . In this case the first letter of the message is "i" and the First letter of the keyword is "f" so if we make them meet we get a "n". Do it for the rest of the message

For decipher the message you need to add to your chart numbers from 0 (A) to 25 (Z). Then you have to subtract to the cipher text number the key word number
