Yum Spaghetti!!
I cooked spaghetti because it is my family's favorite meal. It also doesn't take too long to prepare.
Supplies
To begin, you will need the following ingredients.
- one large skillet
- 2 medium-sized pots
- strainer
- ground beef (may also use ground turkey)
- seasoning salt
- black pepper
- red spaghetti sauce (choose what you prefer)
- spaghetti noodles
- mushrooms (optional)
- onion and bell pepper blend (optional)
Getting Prepared
Preheat your skillet and fill one pot halfway with water
Browning the Meat
Once the skillet is hot, place your chosen meat into the skillet.
Also, add seasonings to the meat.
Let the meat cook until brown.
Prep That Sauce
While the meat is cooking, place your sauce into the medium-sized pot and let it simmer.
Onion Blend
Once the meat is mostly brown, you may add your onion blend during this step.
Don't Forget to Strain
After meat is completely cooked, you should use a strainer to strain excess grease.
Let It Simmer
Add the cooked meat to the simmering pot of spaghetti sauce.
Mushrooms are optional, but if you want them included, now is the time to add those as well.
Let this simmer for about 20 minutes.
Time for Noodles
Now that your water should be boiling, you may add your spaghetti noodles.
Cook noodles to your desired texture.
Strain
Once the noodles are done cooking, put them in the strainer to drain.
Adding to the Pot
Add the cooked noodles to the sauce.
Enjoy
Let it simmer for about 15 minutes and your meal is complete!
(You may top it off with shredded cheese)
