2. Fill reverse-side "well" of slider switch with
    an electrode (e.g. braid or foil), connected
    to center conductor of shielded cable routed
    from the board, filled with epoxy.
3. Connect BLACK-/RED+ to board from pins
    1 and 2 from OEM connector; this will supply
    continuous GND and +12V.
4. Cut OEM connector pin 3; goes to PURPLE;
    resumption goes to GREEN. Note that pin 3
    is a "switch closure to GROUND" (actually goes
    to body computer for PWM light dim control).
